Christian Writers of the World, Unite. It's more fun working together...
My focus is on helping Christian Writers find their voice, learn the craft, and even make a living selling their books online. We cannot afford only to be writers and authors but also publishers and marketers (at least at the beginning). I am here to help. Let me know what topics you would like me to cover and I will gladly do so.
“Writers write, even if they have nothing to say. Readers may not read but that is another story.” - Anonymous
Course Description:
Writing doesn’t happen if you don’t have something to say. And if you do have something to say, then writing tends to happen by itself.
In the middle is where you might need some help. Come join us for some “in the middle” advice and suggestions. Coming Soon!
Everything starts with a mess! If you don’t just make a bit of a mess, you have nothing to work with. Whether you write well or not so well isn’t the point.
The question is whether or not you just sit down on a regular basis and write. Everything else is editing. It might be good. It’s probably pretty bad.
But it’s down on paper which means it can be improved (or thrown away). Writer’s block, the tyranny of a blank piece of paper, deadlines, they are nothing when you have something to say.
Starting with mindset, purpose, vision, and inspiration, we will get the basics out of the way and set you on your path.
From writer’s block to the basics of plot, setting, and characters, from fiction to non-fiction and everything in between, this course will get you started on your writing journey.
What tools do you need? Where can you get the best training? What is the path to publishing best suited to your situation? Where do you get the best advice?
All this and more, are available in our 4 week introductory course to Writing 101. Come join us!
Week 1 – Introduction (The Author Audit)
Week 2 – The Path Less Travelled (The Author Roadmap)
Week 3 – You Get What You Pay For (The Author Portal)
Week 4 – Resources and Resourcefulness (The Author Toolkit)
I suppose that these posts are more popular because people click on them and read them more often. But they also have evergreen content and are "pinned" here because I think they are important for you to read.
